Heat Transfer Fluid Services

Inventory - Radco maintains inventory at our LaFox, Illinois manufacturing plant with an additional supply of raw materials to manufacture on an emergency basis. All fluids offered by Radco are available from stock and usually ready for “same day” shipment, if needed.

Because of Radco's large inventory of finished product, the only lead-time typically is the time to arrange for shipping. Radco has excellent relationships with several bulk and LTL freight companies insuring that the specific delivery requirements of our customers are met with each shipment.

Flexible Reprocessing Programs - With Radco's heat transfer fluid reprocessing capabilities, off-spec fluid can be returned to Radco for reprocessing. The off-spec fluid can be reprocessed in a discrete batch process and kept separate from the virgin stream/other streams and returned to the original customer. Once completed, any partially filled tankers of reprocessed material may be “topped off” with virgin fluid before being returned to the customer. Xceltherm® virgin fluids offer an economic alternative to “big brand name” fluids.

Fluid Credit Programs – Certain off-spec fluids may also be returned to Radco for a credit toward the purchase of new material. Please call and ask a product manager for details.

Rapid Fluid Testing - Radco offers the industry’s most complete fluid testing/analysis and historical trending at Radco’s own expense for their customers. For routine sample analysis, Radco responds with an e-mail or fax of the results within five working days from sample receipt. For emergency analysis, Radco responds within 24 hours. Ask for a copy of our fluid testing policy for complete information on this service. Our system tracking service can pro-actively schedule routine tests so that personnel changes or a busy schedule don’t disrupt your test requirements.

Technical Phone Support - Radco doesn’t put their customers off with a call center or customer service rep who can only take a message. A fluid specialist engineer is available every day. During start up, maintenance periods or as needed, a 24/7 phone number is available on request.

Technical System Support - In nearly 35 years of heat transfer fluid experience, Radco has solved a dynamic range of heat transfer fluid and system problems, from inherent system and equipment design flaws to accelerated fluid degradation and contamination concerns. Radco applies this knowledge to assist our customers to prevent and solve heat transfer issues. Through proper interpretation of the sample analysis data, Radco can detect/predict potential equipment problems or pinpoint the source of current system problems. Radco will recommend a solution that works not only to correct the problem, but also will minimize production downtime and cost. This service is available at no added charge and a trained on-site Engineer is available when required.
