FOR MORE INFORMATION, CONTACT: FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Radco Introduces New High Flash Point Heat Transfer FluidLaFox, Illinois, September 8, 2000 – Radco is pleased to introduce XCELTHERM® 445FP high temperature heat transfer fluid. XCELTHERM® 445FP is a new liquid phase low-cost, efficient heat transfer fluid engineered with a high flash point of 445ºF (230ºC) and a bulk fluid operating range from 5ºF (15ºC) to 550ºF (288ºC). XCELTHERM® 445FP can expand the operating boundaries in systems where the bulk fluid temperature is limited by flash point, and can reduce flash point related insurance coasts in industrial applications. XCELTHERM® 445FP can also be used in systems striving to meet U.S. Coast Guard marine flash point regulations. “From a safety standpoint, in the past many companies have requested a low cost heat transfer fluid that has a flash point above their bulk fluid operating temperature. Now, XCELTHERM® 445FP gives them that comfort level,” Says Michael Damiani, Radco’s CEO. In addition, the superior thermal stability and heat transfer efficiency of XCELTHERM® 445FP versus other heat transfer oils in this operating range mans longer fluid life and additional fluid cost savings.
