XCELTHERM® CA Heat Transfer Fluid

Radco Industries’ XCELTHERM® CA is a highly-refined yet economically priced mineral oil that offers thermal stability up to bulk fluid operating temperatures of 550ºF. This means you can have the quality of a true “heat transfer fluid” and reduce your overall fluid costs.

We've also engineered the physical properties of XCELTHERM® CA to optimize its ability to deliver superior heat transfer efficiency to your system.

In addition to its exceptional system performance, XCELTHERM® CA is very user friendly - often a plus for employees. No special handling precautions are required and it offers no significant eye, skin, inhalation or ingestion hazards.

It is non-toxic and meets the requirements of the US FDA as per 21 CFR 178.3620(b) for use in non-food products in contact with food. Finally, it's fully reprocessable.

Health and Safety Guidelines

A Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) is available on XCELTHERM® CA heat transfer fluid. To obtain a copy, simply contact your Radco Fluid Specialist Engineer or call our main office.

The MSDS contains complete health and safety guidelines regarding the use of our product. It is important to read and understand this material prior to handling and/or using XCELTHERM® CA. If you have any questions after examining the MSDS, please give us a call.

XCELTHERM® CA does not present an appreciable health hazard when used in accordance with accepted manufacturing practices and no special handling precautions are warranted. Although no serious pollution hazards exist, provisions must be made to prevent significant discharge into public waters. And disposal must be in accordance with applicable Federal, State and Local regulations.

Disposal

  • Reprocessing or enclosed controlled incineration are recommended.
