XCELTHERM® MK1

Radco Industries XCELTHERM®MK1 is a thermally stable, eutectic mixture engineered to offer you excellent heat transfer capabilities in both liquid and vapor phase ­ up to 750ºF. This versatile diphenyl oxide/biphenyl-based heat transfer fluid has an application temperature range of 60ºF to 750ºF as a liquid, and 500ºF to 750ºF as a vapor.

In addition ­ it's cost-effective! XCELTHERM® MK1 is chemically identical to diphenyl oxide/biphenyl-based competitive products. However, Radco provides XCELTHERM® MK1 at a price that's designed to make it the ideal choice for your liquid or vapor phase heating systems. XCELTHERM® MK1 also is non-corrosive to metals and is chemically stable. Finally, in keeping with our commitment to the environment, XCELTHERM® MK1 can be fully reprocessed.

Health and Safety Guidelines

A Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) is available on XCELTHERM® MK1 heat transfer fluid. To obtain a copy, simply contact your Radco Fluid Specialist Engineer or call our main office.

The MSDS contains complete health and safety guidelines regarding the use of our product. It is important to read and understand this material prior to handling and/or using XCELTHERM® MK1. If you have any questions after examining the MSDS, please give us a call.

XCELTHERM® MK1 does not present an appreciable health hazard when used in accordance with accepted manufacturing practices and no special handling precautions are warranted. Although no serious pollution hazards exist, provisions must be made to prevent significant discharge into public waters. And disposal must be in accordance with applicable Federal, State and Local regulations. Of course, XCELTHERM® MK1 can be returned to Radco Industries for reprocessing.

  • Reprocessing or enclosed controlled incineration are recommended.
